Article On Dave Draper's Site

I wrote an article for davedraper.com about a few drills and stretches I've found to be helpful for my lower back and squatting. Let me know what you think.

  2. A little confused about how the bands are looped. It looks like you doubled it, then put the "inner" loop around your waist?

  3. Thank you Boris!

    Ed,
The JumpStretch bands are just put behind the back and looped around the knees.

  4. Thanks, Boris! I googled the bands and never could find a video or stills that showed exactly how the bands are looped for these stretches. Already located a blue set on Amazon.com.

  5. You bet Ed. The blue bands might be pretty tough resistance for some drills (assuming they haven't changed the color coding), but it will depend on what you want to do with them.

  6. The blue (really purple) are supposedly rated at 40 lbs. at the stretch point (I think it might be 36") and are marked "Light". Should I get the "Very Light" bands rated at 25-30 lbs.?

  7. Purple should work if they are the light bands. Pink, purple, green, blue, black was the old color coding - maybe that hasn't changed.

  8. You're absolutely right about the color sequence, guess I just looked at the (blue) Amazon pic and didn't read the print very well. Since you are performing these drills with green, I think I'll get the (lighter) purple. Hopefully I won't have to resort to pink! Thanks again for your help.
