You've heard of a high-bar squat and a low-bar squat, but have you heard of the "low-low bar squat"? Not one I'd recommend, but an interesting squat variant nonetheless...
What's the benefit? Glutes more than quads or hamstrings?
Have been using squats to strengthen legs/glutes and (w/o increasing my diet/calorie input) lose weight. Seems pretty effective. But now that I've decreased my bmi, I'd like to bulk up legs/glutes. Any dietary suggestions? Thanks
I'm not an expert on diet, but if you want to gain weight, lift hard, eat more, and eat better (and I'm not being a smart-ass - it's not easy to eat more, better, and lift hard consistently).
