In this Squat Rx, I share some thoughts on power cleans. For more instruction on olympic lifts, I recommend Dan John's
3-DVD set, Mark Rippetoe's
Starting Strength, Arthur Dreschler's
Encyclopedia of Weightlifting and competition and instructional videos from
ironmind.com.
Got something from this video I can put to work tomorrow. Great work Boris; thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris - let me know if it helped.
ReplyDeleteKind of like enjoyed it Boris.
ReplyDeleteJump stretch band, I might incorporate it in various situations(including teaching).
Music's kind of my favorite. Police Academy series "Blue Oyster Bar" dancing music it is.
Yeah, most people either think of gay bars or magic when they here that tune! Glad you liked it.
ReplyDeleteI started power clean training recently and this video was just the ticket. As a result, I have dropped way down in weight to get comfortable with the awkwardness of the elbows-up front squat position. I can see why many folks bag power clean training due to this difficult rack position but I intend on mastering it.
ReplyDeleteAgain thanks for great video!
